Default Brakes

Ok I've been noticing that my brakes are starting to feel a little suspect, would OEM brakes be ok or should I just spend a little extra and get something a little higher quality?

Saturn Ion's seem to like full ceramic brake pads. They lasted me close to 60k.
OEM rotors will be fine.
