I've now isolated the where exactly the problem is, and how to solve it.

Whatever bad connection is causing the problem, is in the top bend of the wire housing.

I have had several window failures lately, and when I grab the wire housing at that location, and put it toward me, the problem is solved and the windows work again.

So far, I have not tried causing the problem to happen, by pushing the wire housing at that location away from me, but I might do so in the future.
