Default car shakes at idle


when im in first gear the motor starts shaking really bad and when i take it out of gear and put it back in first it fine and when im at red light it happens again 97 saturn sc2 stick

Assuming that the shaking in 1st is at a stop with the clutch pedal to the floor?
Where is the clutch engaging in the pedal travel? Low to the floor or up high? Pump the pedal a few times and see if that changes things for a bit. Your hydraulic clutch system may be showing its age.

yes the clutch is on the floor, high up, they car has only 74676 miles on the car

mine does that too i have a 98 with 117,000 and one of my rubber hangers was missing and i put a new one on and now its all good
