Post Horn blows constant

I left my 98 saturn SL2 out in the rain with the window cracked. The horn started blowing on its own. I pulled the fuse and figured the horn buttons probably shorted out. I replaced the horn buttons but it didn't fix it. What else can it be?

Welcome to the Board.

Good chance that it is the horn it self. Hit a wrecking yard and get one from a 98 up. The relay is internal to the 97's and up and they are three wire horns so a cheap one from a parts store will only be two wire and not work. The 97's had a recall if I remember correctly so you want to stay away from them.

After all that if the horn still goes off then you may have a short to ground in the wiring to the horn switches. This would be more than rare so I would try the wrecking yard horn first.

Get one from a wrecking yard. Pain in the back side to try and retro fit a two wire horn in.
