holy crap that is a lot of power, i don't care what kind of car it is any car with dyno readings like that deserves respect.

My goal is only 600hp out of it, and ive seen them hit much higher.. but I want to be able to drive it on a daily basis if I wanted to. There is a reason my gen cobra is called the terminator.. 03-04 cobras were SIGNIFICANTLY more powerful than previous years.. especially with the factory installed supercharger..

People can buy their saleens but its still based off a 16 valve v8, when a cobra comes with a 32 valve v8.. not to mention the internals way outclass the 16 valve v8's (Saleen S281, built off of the GT Mustang retails around 50k)

Besides, what other car are you gonna get with that much power, from the factory for $29,900 (what i paid for mine)

very true. oddly enough in town theres only two dynos, both mustang dynos which i love, much closer to true power readings. well one is for most of the town the other lol likes to only do fords or muscle. i visit it sometimes because i wanted to take my ford sho there. the owner has a buick gnx a harley davidson edition hes turboing , and a 700 ish hp cobra. in the parking lot... 6 more cobras. so lol i think most real power heads got the hint of the terminator years. im amazed at how little is done and cost is so low to make power in excess of 500 hp. i think 600 is an easy goal with that motor, and will still be a beast for a dd. im shooting for 500 whp with my vr-4, and that shouldnt be to hard. but yea respect is due when its earned. just like a 400 hp civic deserves respect, so does a mustang.

That thing screamed you could hear it into the showroom. 512 wheel on the first pull. and 5 pulls later, 537 hp very nasty. Shut those kids up quick. I cant wait to get my vr-4 done see if i cant hit numbers like that.
That must have been a regular ricer hangout shop for those tards to think that S/C Cobras are crap. Gotta love the high school kids who know nothing about cars and cream all over themselves whenever they hear of supras and skylines.

haha oddly enough ya. almost all of the real hp is made at the shop but ya the little kids hang around there just drooling. now one of the cobras in town is swapping to a twin turbo set up. should be interesting. i still think with my vr-4 shouldnt be to hard to handle.

Id love to get a vr-4. Im going to stick supercharger route with mine.. gonna upgrade it and port it out some more on top of what i put into it..

Saw a cobra one year earlier than mine, with just a upgraded supercharger hitting 590hp (not as high as the supercharger I want to put in mine)

Fun fact: the cobra engine from the factory is rated up to 1000 hp stock (can handle 1000hp without malfunction)
