Default Quick Trans Assembly Pics

Nearing completion of the motor and trans rebuild and auto to manual swap. Install should be this weekend. Here are some assembly pics and my welded diff.

I welded this up about 3 years ago, and it ran in my 93 till i hydro locked the motor.

One of the lube grooves can be seen peeking out on the left. They greatly reduces the possibility of diff from locking up and spitting the pin again.

Trans assembly was very fast. about an hour and a half max.

when i blew my trans, it took me 10 minutes to get it all apart lol. I didnt care.... it was toast. At least everything was still in great shape, including the input shaft bearing/seal i just put in.

psshhh, I've never spent more than an hour assembling a trans

HOT TIP, zip tie the input/output shafts together when you pull em out, I've had problems getting everying lined up when you put it back together.

DEFINITELY do that to the 5th gear assembly, I had to re-assemble that once, it TOTALLY sucked.

Not that you need this advice, just to anyone else looking at this thread.

i took my time and diddled around a bit trying to find stuff, It would have gone much faster at the shop. also i had no gaskets so i had to use sealer on everything.
