I asked about the Twistec kit because I heard it is one of the best, I have no problem paying a litle more for a qaulity product. I'm not saying that one is bad, just havent heard of it.

hi lee, the twistec econo kit is something like 3200 i beleive, but, now, im not sure for the single cams so id email jeff at twistec and see what he can do for you.
there is other kits like the one elmo mentioned, dont overpay either cause one has a fancier intercooler or something, check out both kits and if you have any questions post them and well all give you our input.

Is the CCA kit a good one? I'm just looking into options right now, I'm not going to get a turbo until after I do the engine swap.

Ya know while we're on the subject of single cammers and turbo's; While I was up at Saturn Motorsports talking to Wes the other day, Tyler showed me a little sight that really shocked me.

Over in the paint booth was a 93 SL1 turbo. VERY stealthy.. It was aquamarine with black steelies and a cage. The exterior was spartan with the exception of a huge gay wing that the owner was removing.

It had a custom equal-length turbo header and T3/T4 strapped to the front of the built motor. It used a stand-alone to control everything. Tyler told me that they were able to put down 280hp and 300+ ft./lbs to the tires on the dyno.

Hows about that for a single cammer? I was VERY impressed. I'd like to see that car tearing it up sometime.

Ya know, I think both of those kits can be modified to your liking when buying. You could probably mix and match several of the parts to your liking.
