$3.90 today and I just found out that the gas station where I go is the most expensive compared to any other one around. Sounds like I need a change, haha!

$3.65/gal for regular (I never even check mid grade or premium) at the station where I usually fill up. I'm in N.W. Las Vegas.

1972: I came home on leave, and there was a "Gas War". Yes I said gas war, look it up on the interweb. Gulf Super 100 was 24.9cents or some damn thing. Soppers City was 16.6cents for regular. All gas was leaded, but my Harleys or Triumph would not run on Shopper City gas. My 1960 Chevy panel truck would. My Dad let me use his Caddy for a date and I filled it up at Shoppers City. That car ran so bad I had to drive all over hell to burn the 22 gallons of gas off. Pissed me off cause I spent like $3.50 to fill the tank. Than I had to go fill it with Gulf Super 100 so my Dad didn't know I put that **** gas in his Caddy, that cost me another five bucks...It all ended up as good as possible. The gal loved the back seat of that 1970 CoupeDeville. After the sun came up I parked the Caddy and off we went on my 1957 Sporty. That was a great night evan after all the money I spent on gas.....

I just looked the price of gas zip code 55811, it's around $3.50 a gallon. That's about $77 bucks to fill the Caddy, and I'd say that date would still be worth it at today's price.

wow. you really do learn something new everyday. I have never heard of the gas war. that is interesting. definitely going to look it up.
and either the date was/is your wife, or she was just that memorable.

3.27 for 87 outside pittsburgh today.

Pulled my 97 up on the wrong side of the pump b/c I'm used to riding around as a passenger in my wife's 2014 escape.

17 years. You'd think I'd remember by now.

I believe it was 2.87 when I passed the gas station earlier.

Derf, I did that the other day, after driving my sedan for about 5 years now. It was one of those face palm moments.
