Default Paint Chips?


anybody know of a temporary fix on paint chips? the bumper on my RL is annoying the crap outta me, and I am not ready to repaint it yet.

Yeah...I have a chip about 1/2 the size of a dime on my hood. Bugs the heck out of me. As long as I stay here in the southwest, it's just a "wart". Once I take it to Seattle, though, the moisture turns the bare metal rusty.

Hey Billy ! Where in Louisiana are you? I worked there, at the Washington Parish Free Fair, many moons ago (entertainer).

I do remember that it was damp...no...WET...the entire time I was there.

Water and plastic seem to "get along" but I'm glad I'm not there watching the exposed metal on my hood, turn to rust spot. lol

Cheap and easy temp fix that does not look like crap? Is there one? Maybe sand the bumper down, tape it off, prime-n-paint with a rattle can? Many, many, many light coats, cover with clear the same way.....
