Default 2005 Ion2 Sunroof Leak

I know there are a bunch of threads and info on this but the ones i've found don't apply to my issue.

My sunroof drain leaks but isn't clogged.

after a winter of wet floors i got around to trying to figure it out today.

if i open the sunroof and pour water into the surrounding frame the water drains. i can see the water draining out the bottom of the car BUT it also leaks into the front of the car. I can't see it dripping, it almost appears to be leaking in the seams under the wiring in the very front left (this happens on the drivers side) corner.

unlike a lot of the info i've seen on easily checking the drain tube on a 2004 it seems on the 2005 that tube isn't easily accessible. at least i can't find it.

i did pop the headliner and the drain tube is secure at the top at the roof.

Thoughts?

Did you check the tube at the bottom? I don't have a sunroof, so I'm not 100%, but I've read there is another connection before it exits the car near the floor board

thanks for the reply. i can't FIND the tube. there are great instructions on a 2004 but seems like on the 2005 they moved the tube. I found a picture showing it behind the kick panel but i can't seem to find access to it

looks like this guy cut the metal to access it. and i think this is the passenger side since on my driver side there is a lot of wiring running through the area

pic here (i can't post it due to my new status) add h t t p:// to the beginning

It's in the same place on all the ions. You might have to remove the fender to access it. I see what you're saying though.
I know the vues the fender needs to be removed. I can't recall on the ions though. It would make sense though so it doesn't cross with electric
