Default Hello Everyone

I'm new to the car world, got a 2002 Saturn SL1 as my first car back on December 8th of 2016. I found this forum and thought it would be a good idea to sign up and ask questions if needed. I do have one question to start, my car has been sitting in my yard since I bought it and what the fuel gauge says seems to vary a lot. Could it have to do with this cold north eastern weather or is it because it has been sitting?
