my first was an 84 bronco II...the small bronco. i got it for $600 and it was the biggest POS, but the 4 wheel drive worked great in it. i would have to keep my foot on the gas and brake just to keep the thing runnin. i took it for inspection one time and it was runnin pretty good...then i was like lemme turn it off and start it back up just in case they do that on the line for some reason.....after that i couldnt keep it runnin. oh yea and it burned oil like crazy too.

then i got my SL1 and parked the bronco for about a month. i went to start it up and the cabin filled with smoke as something underneath was clogged. i think i fried a family of squirrels or sumpin tho.

My first car was an 85 caddy el dorado *sp?* my ex boyfriend bought it for me when i was 16 (i had a thing for 20 year old navy boys buying me things back in the day) and i beat the hell out of it. plowing through people's yards, hitting mail boxes, awww i miss that car. THEN when I moved back to WI from seattle i bought my 92 white beretta GT and actually made that last (because I had to buy it) and when that finally killed and i towed it to the dealership the super sexy sales guy showed me Sparky (my black 02 SC2) and i was in love. And i've had Sparky for about a year and a half now and haven't damaged him.... minus the huge crack in the bumper cover, but dahmit that was a big a$$ racoon and i was going 65.

Oddly enough, I've got a short write-up about all my previous car ownerships on one of the later pages of my Cardomain site...

Long story short, in chronological order, 'ere goes...

Natalie - 1969 Cadillac Coupe deVille. (The beastly ride on my sig behind Ms. Kournakova.) Purchased for $800 when I was 16, needed transmission overhaul and brakes to be road-worthy.

"The 'Rolla" - 1990 Toyota Corolla DX Sedan. I got it for free out of parent's divorce settlement. Beat it to hell and back (dusty roads + leaking ghetto CAI, run *very* low on oil, overfilled on oil by 3 quarts...) and kept on ticking. Finally sold it for $500 at 172,000 miles.

Samantha - 1998 Saturn SL2. Bought for $1,975, needed a new clutch and master/slave cylinder assembly. Great car, loved all of it except the two rear doors.

Victoria - 1996 Pontiac Sunfire SE. Bought for $2,650, drove it home. I could accelerate faster on my 18 speed bike... But a very reliable car. Never failed me once, ABS kept me alive through a Wisconsin winter.

Lindsey - 1997 Saturn SC2. Bought for $1,500, engine knocked badly, swapped in a 1998 SL2 motor, she ran great. After learning about Saturns and really liking them, I ended up getting another one, this time, with only two doors. The only thing I didn't particularly like about Lindsey was the tan interior color. I still wish she hadn't been stolen...

My first vehicle was a 95 ford ranger (brand new at time), two wheel drive, that I treated like a four wheel drive.
The after I paid it off I thought why not get into debt again, and bought a 92 full size bronco. four wheel from hell.
After I started having problems wit it, i decided to trade it in on my 01sc2. best financle investment. The gas differnence alone was worth it. Something about getting 30mpg over 8-10 mpg

HMmm...
I originally had a 1990 Chevrolet Silverado with some customization, but my uncle crashed it while moving. I drove that so few times that I can't exactly say it was my first.

1995 Honda Accord. 180K miles on the odo. I remember overheating a few times, blowing up a tranny cooler hose, and having some tire blowouts. The A/C quit working in the middle of summer, which is a HUGE problem.

My first car was a 89 chrysler daytona turbo. I really liked that car, was pretty quick. Too many things went wrong, so sold it for $500.

Moved on to a 1990 cavalier. Never had any problems with this at all. Sold it for $500. The next person who had ti, had to replace the breaks, muffler, tranny, and do a whole lot of body work cause the doors were rusted out.

Then I got my 99 sl2.

1989 CRX HF I bought when I was 16.. great car.

Then I was handed the 1984 5-speed Voyager.. I kicked so many ricey civic owner's asses with that thing.. and plenty of smoke outs

Then I bought my LOVE, 1989 Conquest TSi.. I am selling her soon but after I get my degree I will buy another one.. this time the blue.

Then I bought a 1994 SL2 with $200 of my money.. needless to say I have yet to get her going until the TSi leaves.

Peace & Love

not counting the 79 Mustang 200 auto that my folks let me drive exclusively and called mine, It was an '86 Suzuki Forsa. 3 cyl, 48 HP, stick. Only a year old. I haven't bought a car anywhere near that new since, and there've been several.
