Default true side exit exhaust

Now this car has a true side exit exhaust system. I also kinda wondered where the air filter is.

I saw the pic of the exhaust running into the fender before I saw the pic of the engine bay, and I was thinking to myself, "did he throw the muffler in the engine bay?"

No, he didn't; he just ran straight piping...gawd it must sound awful. Not only is he running filterless, but he's also got no intercooler. Sure, his gains would be greater in that he's got no exhaust/intake, but w/ no intercooler, it's still crappy.

however, I kinda like his originality. I've honestly never seen the exhaust exit from the fender before (prolly for good reason). When I get enough money and a body kit, I'm gonna make an exhaust like the vipers have (in front of the rear tires). That looks bada$$.
