Default Leak in the trunk

Hello all. I have an '01 Saturn SC2, the 3 door coupe. On both sides of my trunk, I have a leak where water will drip into the little wells on either side of the trunk. The car hasn't been in any kind of collision in the past 4 years, and it has never had any damage to the rear end of the car. I have also confirmed that the sunroof drains are not the problem. If I poor water at the bottom right and bottom left corner where the back window is, that is where it appears the leak is, and then it will drip down through the little crevaces in the trunk. Has anyone else had this problem and was able to get it fixed?

Default answer to leaking trunk

hey this is lovemy68 and i was trying to find a trunk cover to go inside of my saturn and i happened to find your question and i just might happen to have a answer for it because i had the same problem you do. there is 1 hose in each corner of the trunk at the top that drains to the outside quarter pannel. both hoses are connected to the back of the rear window and they just plug into the quarter pannel and drain to the outside of the car between the inner and outer pannel.

Thanks,
lovemy68

Default thanks!

The tubes from the back window on my 2000 sc2 were both disconnected. Waiting for a rain to make sure this was the only leak, but it looks like my trunk should be dry now!
