Because people assume it's already active, then get discouraged when no one responds. If a group of 5-6 people is built up, then they can know who actually wants to do stuff, and can really start to do stuff. Also allows for re-doing the leadership structure if the FL prez isn't active. Nothing more aggrivating than trying to follow someone who doesn't do anything with the group.
well the club is active still, There just really isin't many people from FL that actually post on here often enough to respond to each and every post made in that section. Most of the people check SaturnSpot maybe a couple times a year. This should only be for people that want to start a "new" chapter, not one that exists already

It's just that the truth of the matter is that half of the "existing" club chapters are really dead. FL is kinda hard to tell about, though, so I dunno.

i am newly registered and run with JDUB. i sold him his 1996 sc2, so we have all the same mods except he has exhaust. i want a saturn club in boulder,co

That makes 3 in CO. Couple more, preferably, and the involvement of at least our national VP (who is currently recovering), and we should be able to do something.
