Default 3rd gen headlights on a 2nd gen

Can I rig my wiring harness to fit the 3rd gen lights? Do I need the 3rd gen headlight bracket? I'm thinking about gettting a new set from work since I can get them for $125 a pop. Any info would be great.

Wiring harness? What are you talking about?

Unplug your bulbs, and plug them into the new housings. You shouldn't have to change a thing, electrically.

But yes, you will need the brackets as well as the headlights. Not sure what else is required. I'm pretty sure Saturnsrus did the swap...since SL and SW are closer than an SC is, I would ask him.

Yes you will need the turn signal connectors from a 3rd gen along with the brackets.

Here's the other thread. http://www.saturnspot.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=30339

actually......what most people think is that I just swaped head lights. I have a 3rd gen SL2. People think i swapped to a 2gen headlight. Unforuatnetly I will not be much help on this post. But i can leave some knowledge behind, The body lines won`t match up perfectly, If I have a 2nd gen to swap mine to just to show u I would but i do not have that resource availble. But as shaolin said, u will need the bracket and headlight. On top of that to get rid of the amber you must dremel it out.
