Default Help! no heat from my 2001 sc1 1.9


Changed the water pump (twice) and the thermostat ,still no heat from the heater only 60F the gauge on the dash is fine about half way,no running problems just no heat,took out for a test run seems when put on vent and going up ahill seams a little heat come out the vent up to 75F. need help getting cold here now,could it be the blend door,moved dial back and forth cools down on cold ,but little ,but some difference on full hot. hoses on rad seam not overly hot after running for a half hour. help please. thought i would post here for the most traffic thanks Greg 2001 SC1 coupe 1.9 twin cam a/c automatic 120000 miles

A heater is a very simple thing.check to make sure the door is all the way on the heat side make sure the car is at operating temp.if all is good heat should work.if everthing is ok visually but u still dont have heat its possible the hose to core is clogged but i doubt it.

Thanks,back flushed heater core seems a lot better now up to 120 degrees.
