Default Paint Job Cost and how much work involved

im looking at paying a place to paint my car. I only know how to to body work and i can atleast save some money on that .. but I want to know on average what does it cost to paint an entire car a different color. Leaving the jams the previous color. I'm going ton choose a color that matches the next color of jams. Like a two tone.

how can i save some money? maybe taping off the car for the paint guy?

I think that the best thing for you to do would be to make some phones call to local body shops. Rates vary in cities never mind across North America. They will be able to give you the best answer for your area.

thats totally true, but on average your looking at around the 3,000 $$ mark. Thats if you want it to look descent. Paint jobs are hard to do if you know your stuff and actually know how to do it nice.
