Default license plate light

hi, my bass broke off the tabs to the license plate lights so i was thinking of getting small neon bars to put in there because i feel that if i get new ones that they will see the same fate. so i was wondering has anyone down this or can offer help or should it be pretty straight forward.

any cops that sees your licence plate lit up in neon lighting will probly pull you over.. try converting the bulbs to L.E.D... they'll be much more durable and brighter to boot..

yeah the new lexus' have white LED's and they look great, much better than a single or double yellow faded light

(especially here in jersey where we have bright yellow plates)

thats nothing duct tape cant fix. i actually changed my bulbs out since the old plate lights were dead... and now it looks like i have a lightbar or somesht back there... i might have gotten the wrong bulbs but fkers cant complain about not seeing my plates now

i dont think u would have a prob w/ neon or leds back there aslong as the plate is properly illuminated and can be seen clearly... cuz thats basically what they give u sht over... id go w/ leds
