NEVER, EVER, EVER Will I buy another SATURN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well there's your first problem, paying someone else to fix your car. Half the reason I like Saturns so much is the fact they're easy to work on, have readily available reasonably-priced parts, and little quirks like this provide ample opportunity to spend an evening in the garage wrenchin' on stuff.

Anyways, sunroofs on any make/model are notorious for leaking; I've just never had one fill my trunk before. I'll be sure to post pics/steps if/when I do find a fix. I look forward to the chance/excuse to finally pull a body panel off; thanks for the info purdueguy!

That is why I am a computer and network guy, not a car repair guy.

I wouldnt have the 1st clue how to replace a steering column.....If I did I would save the labor charge.....

found the culprit (I think) that was turning my trunk into a water resevoir. What looks like a sunroof drain hose had popped out of place. There was telltale water residue where it was dangling.

This pic shows the cutout directly behind the passenger rear strut housing on an '01 SC2. Hope it helps someone..

same thing happened to me. Unfortunately, I still have a small leak after fixing it, so I'm going to have to hunt down a leaky seam...

I have the same problem. I have a 97 sc1 and the passenger side leaks. I don't have a sunroof either. I'll just have to take off my rear quarter panel some day lol.

Me too!! I have a 2001 SC1. It started out as a small pool of water on the passenger side and now that I let it go for a few months, after it rained a bunch, I had to wet-vac the ocean from both sides and where the spare is! YUCK!

I also do not have a sunroof... I'm greatfull for this site cause I'm gonna head outside right now and take everyone's suggestions.... Afraid to take it somewhere so they can charge hundreds for labor just to find a leak! I'll be back on here to let everyone know if I find any different solutions...

Smile May have SOLVED the LEAK problem

I'm back. I went outside and tinkered around as I said I would....
I found the leak to my car that is so commonly also a problem with so many other cars, so I have read....

My car (01 SC1, NO sunroof)) it's the rubber seal at the furthest point to the rear passenger side of the car. I attatched pics. There's a little gap and I poured water in and it drips right into the trunk!! SOLVED!! YAY!!
