Default 1997 saturn 1.9 DOHC into a 1997 saturn sl 1.9 dohc ??

I need to know if I can the the 1.9 dohc motor from a 1997 saturn and put it in my 1999 saturn that had the same 1.9 dohc in it iv been told they are different but possible to interchange can anyone please tell me what im going to have to change, thanks

Definetly possible. Youll need to use the fuel rail from the '99 as it changed in '98. Also you need to use the manifolds from the '97 as they changed in '98 too. Use the PCM from the '99. Everything else should be plug and play.
